Contractor shall maintain a system in place, which
shall include provisions for defining and verifying articles and material
quality through all operations, including procurement, fabrication, testing,
and delivery, and shall comply with ISO 9000-2000 or AS 9100,
Inspection System Requirements or equivalent. If unsatisfactory
conditions are discovered, they shall be promptly corrected.
Items shall be clearly marked, labeled, or tagged
in such a manner that objective identification can be determined upon receipt,
unless otherwise specified in this Contract/Purchase Order.
When requested by JPL, Contractor shall provide
reproducible copies of drawings, catalog cuts, brochures, etc., which can be
utilized to assure compliance with advertised requirements.
If Contractor is not the
manufacturer, Contractor shall furnish goods, which have been obtained from a
source approved by JPL, as well as provide the name and address of the
manufacturer on the shipping documents or applicable certificate.
Incorporate by reference QC44. JPL’s authorized purchasing representative will
furnish a list of approved suppliers (ASL).
Incorporate by reference QC18. Contractor shall insert the substance of this
clause, including this sentence, in all lower-tier subcontracts for work done
under this contract.
