5300.4 (CURRENT REV.) INSPECTION
SYSTEM:
Contractor shall establish and maintain an
inspection system per the above listed NASA Document, Safety, Reliability, Maintainability, and Quality Provisions for Space
Shuttle Program. Contractor shall invoke an equivalent Inspection System on
Sub-tier Suppliers as appropriate, and to the extent necessary, to ensure the
required quality of purchased materials, parts, and components. Contractor is
not required to submit an inspection system plan unless requested by JPL. If a
documented quality plan is required, it will be requested as specified in QC53.
JPL reserves the right to perform periodic audits
at Contractor’s facility.
